Zvi Aviner is a physician and a Torah scholar. Born and raised in Israel, Rabbi Dr. Z. Aviner received his MD degree from Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel, and is a practicing ophthalmologist. He also received rabbinic ordination, and has taught Torah classes for Jewish and non-Jewish audiences over the years. His first book, Sod Siach, a commentary on the Torah, was published in Israel in 1996.
