The utterances of the Guiding Entele have been marked with the symbol
The significance of this symbol is made clear on the page opposite the Counsel of the Entele.
The Entele, in committing this definitive edition to publication, has issued the following instructions:
"This work is doctrinally categorical and absolute: no modification of it is possible, its absoluteness being based not on pride but upon truth. The work, which has been compiled by the will of the Law, is capable of containing, of completing, of actually creating new life: it has not been created to undergo modification, additions, adulteration. What has been uttered has been uttered in simplicity and is simple fact; what has been uttered in truth is the truth and the truth is immutable; nothing can be superimposed on the truth: this is the fundamental point. It was said "proclaim the gospel", to make known to all, in the most effective and suitable form, the unambiguous and unmistakable interpretation of the word preached by Christ and recorded in the Gospels. This it is that must be made known. This truth, which We commit to the winds of Heaven, which have a wisdom of their own, for its slow but steady and inexorable dissemination must be your first work, whose power is potential: the propagation of that truth interpreted in its essence.
This work cannot be made known without first being mastered and possessed. Master the subject, become masters and possessors of the light that radiates from it, possessors of that love toward which the teachings themselves impel you irresistibly and invincibly. This is the sole and absolute principle which must never be abandoned.
