Preface

I am happy that I went through almost entire 20th century - the most dramatic and tragic century in the human history. I was glad to see that despite of huge barriers on the destinies of so many nations and peoples there were gentile souls who sought to overcome even the most terrible "tests" not only for simple survival but also for the grave foundations of the human's moral values. I was a witness to many events that happened at the second half of the century, while my parents' and grandparents' memories helped me to learn about most of the events from the earlier period of that time. So, I learned much about "reasons" and "consequences". At least, I feel educated enough to try putting together all facts I have learned and looking impartially at them to draw fundamental lessons of the past century for the pivotal problems of the modern world.

As a geologist I represent the dying generation of the earth scientists who used to watch and study rather than make "corrections" to the natural order of things. Such analytical approach together with a deep feeling of the natural beauty of the world added a lot to my perception of the history as a process of constant natural development of mankind. Of course, such approach led me to a fundamental question: is our development being controlled "from the Heaven"? The beauty of the world suggested rather positive answer.

I suggest that the Creator does control our destinies. However, His control is limited to a certain point that is unknown to us. I consider it is good for us.

The Creator constantly and entirely watches over geological development keeping balance on the Earth. But development of the living creatures and especially of those who are able to think is not under His full control.

He intervenes in the human destinies only in the most decisive and meaningful moments. Such moment was, for instant, when He opened His face to the two "young leaders" - Moses and Ekhnaton. At that time it was pivotal to change "rules of game" fundamentally through replacing pagan cults with One God. Such a great leap in the progress of Mankind meant that people would have the Superior who is implicit Love and Care but Who also offers them a freedom. All this meant that Mankind has grown up.

He rules through His "ambassador", a soul, which is inside us. Each creature has a soul but only humans are able to think. The human soul is his or her own guardian and leader, the God's trustee. That's why He limited His control over human development.

He gradually, as the Homo Sapiens grows up, passes on to him the fundamental knowledge about the Nature's law. The main law is that the progress means a sequence of slow, gradual development and the deep revolutionary leaps. In the history of mankind periods of gradual transition were getting shorter and shorter, while revolutionary leaps were becoming longer and more aggressive. Why? I suggest our mind is unable to find a solution.

He tries to teach the mankind that the only unified religion is the most appropriate reflection of His rule so, all nations are urged to follow this fundamental law.

Dear Reader, it is up to you to judge how provable are my thoughts and suggestions.

Afterword

Our history is full of enigmas and unlearned lessons. In this book I tried to respond to just some of them with my own suggestions. So far there is no archeological or otherwise documented evidences to many of events that are considered pivotal in our history, for instance, no evidence to the Exodus has been found. However, I believe that my findings and suggestions are based on reality. At least, they are in agreement with logic and common sense of a thoughtful reader. Moreover, if ideas that come to us seem to be noble and useful in their nature they should be expressed, discussed and spread.

I believe that religious diversity fits only a certain period of human history. It could pass like the "games" with pagan idols passed in the ancient times. We are moving toward not only perception of the Unified God but also a creation of unified way to Him through expression of our love and respect to Him. In the near future religious differences - the last grave barriers between races, nations, and even families - will disappear. The Unified Destiny of the Mankind is under Creator's control that stretches over all nations. The only fundamental right is given to each creature: to create its own destiny in agreement with the Fundamental Natural Law. Those who do not follow this rule are punished through decline - moral or even physical. Such is Creator's control system.

The history is full of evidences to such a hypothesis of mine.
