Terra Vanzant-Stern, PhD., PMP, SPHR/GPHR is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt with SSD Global, an organization that specializes in accelerated Lean Six Sigma training for Green, Black and Master Black Belt students.

Dr. Stern has been instrumental in creating the SSD Global Lean Six Sigma Body of Knowledge and was named the 2009 Facilitator of the Year by the Lean Six Sigma Professional Association (Lean6.org). Her experience includes applying Lean Six Sigma to the public sector, healthcare and manufacturing. She is the author of: HR Concepts for Project Managers and a textbook: The Top Ten Challenges for Six Sigma Organizations. Dr. Stern has also published over thirty articles in the areas of leadership development, project management, business metrics and communications.

Dr. Stern has held positions on the board of the Colorado Human Resource Association and has served on the Education Committee of the Colorado Ethics and Business Alliance. She is currently serving a second term as the American Society of Quality (ASQ) Denver Chair.
